Riff and I have been practicing "sends" and "distance work" so much lately that "decelerate" and "collection" have become foreign concepts. In an effort to fix that problem (which results in Riff speeding off to make up his own course), we attended a little workshop at Leap Dog Agility this morning.
What fun! It's always good to go back to the basics. At first Riff was confused, and volunteered a variety of "rear cross" responses, but he soon had it figured out. As usual, it took me a little longer to clean up my timing and position work, but we made good progress! Happiness.
